This time of the year has so much to offer. First, I love the crisp morning air and sunshine on my bike ride to the store. Second, the long await for the beautiful changing of the leaves, and all the raking that’s come with them. And third…Ellbee’s Chili Time!!! Oh yes, it screams fall! We have already took second in our local Chili Cookoff last weekend, by 1 vote! That’s okay, bragging rights still apply. Try a batch for yourself and tell us what you like about it.

Ellbee’s Blackbean Chili

*1 lb of ground beef

*1 small onion, diced

*1 cans black beans, drained, 1 can of Brooks chili beans mild, 1 can dark kidney beans drained

*2 cans stewed tomatoes

*1/4 cup #Ellbee’s Zesty or #Ellbee’s Chipotle Garlic

3 cups V-8 juice

*butter and crackers a must

Start by adding the burger and onions into a large pan and brown together. Drain excess grease. Add Zesty garlic and stir until beef is coated. Add stewed tomatoes and simmer until they soften, then add beans and V-8 and simmer for at least an hour on medium. Then it’s time to top it off with some shredded cheese and butter some crackers for your first bowl. Cheers to a fall must have. Happy cooking! https://ellbeesgeneralstore.com/product-category/garlic/
