Chile-Lime Pineapple Pork Chops
A little heat, a little char and a pineapple ring that turns glossy on the grill: these pork chops do not need a complicated sidekick. Chile-lime garlic and honey-ginger balsamic build a bright tropical glaze that makes the whole plate pop.
Ingredients
Method
- Toss pork with 1 tablespoon Ellbee's Habanero Olive Oil, Ellbee's Chili Lime Gourmet Garlic, lime zest, salt and pepper. Let stand 15 minutes while the grill heats to medium-high.
- Brush pineapple with remaining oil. Grill pork chops and pineapple until well marked, turning once; pork should reach 145°F, about 4 to 5 minutes per side.
- Brush pork and pineapple with Ellbee's Honey Ginger Balsamic Vinegar during the final minute. Rest pork 5 minutes.
- Serve each pork chop with a pineapple ring, lime wedges, cilantro and crunchy slaw if using.
Notes
Time: 40 min
Kitchen tip: Thin chops cook quickly, so use an instant-read thermometer rather than timing alone to keep them juicy.
