Apple-Ginger Iced Tea
Apple juice and fresh ginger give classic iced tea a crisp orchard twist, while Honey Ginger and Peach White balsamics add the kind of bright finish that makes everyone ask what is in it. Serve it over lots of ice with mint for an instant porch-swing mood.
Ingredients
Method
- Pour boiling water over the tea bags and ginger. Steep for 4 minutes, then remove the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.
- Stir in apple juice, lemon juice, Honey Ginger Balsamic, and Peach White Balsamic. Chill until cold.
- Fill a pitcher with apple slices and ice, pour in the tea, and garnish with lemon twists and mint. Serve in tall ice-filled glasses.
Notes
Time: 20 min
Kitchen tip: Use a tart apple juice rather than a very sweet one. The balsamics bring plenty of natural fruit character without making the drink heavy.
