Zesty Mustard-Roasted Chicken
A little mustard and the right garlic blend create the kind of lacquered roast chicken that makes a regular night feel like Sunday dinner. The original recipe was all about simple chicken legs and thighs; this one keeps that easy spirit while adding a golden, savory finish and a colorful roast-pan moment.
Ingredients
Method
- Heat oven to 400°F. Whisk mustard, Zesty Garlic, Sweet & Smoky Garlic, Butter Olive Oil, salt, and pepper. Coat chicken well and arrange skin-side up in a roasting pan.
- Roast 35 to 40 minutes, until deeply bronzed and the thickest part reaches 165°F. Broil 1 to 2 minutes if you want extra-crisp skin.
- Rest 5 minutes, then finish with lemon and rosemary before serving.
Notes
Time: 50 min
Kitchen tip: The mustard does not make the chicken taste sharp—it simply helps the seasonings cling and brown beautifully.
