Tuscan Chicken Puff Bites
Flaky puff pastry cups make a humble chicken-and-cheese filling feel instantly party-ready. Tuscan garlic, tomato-basil balsamic and fresh herbs turn each golden bite into the kind of appetizer people quietly stash a second time before the tray disappears.
Ingredients
Method
- Heat oven to 400°F. Stir chicken, cream cheese, shredded cheese, scallions, Ellbee's Tuscan Gourmet Garlic, Ellbee's Butter Olive Oil, Ellbee's Tomato Basil Balsamic Vinegar, parsley, lemon zest and pepper together.
- Cut puff pastry into 3-inch squares and press them into a greased mini-muffin pan, leaving the corners pointed up. Spoon a rounded teaspoon of filling into each cup.
- Bake until the pastry is tall, deeply golden and the filling is hot, 16 to 20 minutes.
- Cool for 5 minutes before moving to a platter. The centers will be lava-hot right out of the oven.
Notes
Time: 35 min
Kitchen tip: Freeze unbaked filled cups on a sheet pan, then transfer them to a bag. Bake from frozen at 400°F, adding 4 to 6 minutes.
