Bacon-Wrapped Zesty Pork Chops
Pork chops, but make them a full-on grill-night event: a zesty garlic crust, a smoky bacon wrap and asparagus tucked right alongside for a dinner that feels a little bit steakhouse, a little bit backyard. Every bite gets salty, juicy and just enough heat.
Ingredients
Method
- Heat grill to medium-high. Rub pork chops with Ellbee's Zesty Gourmet Garlic, Ellbee's Bacon Organic Olive Oil, salt and pepper. Wrap each chop with bacon and secure with a toothpick if needed.
- Grill chops over direct heat until the bacon is crisp and the pork reaches 145°F, 5 to 7 minutes per side. Move to indirect heat briefly if the bacon needs more time without overcooking the pork.
- Toss asparagus and leek with a drizzle of oil, salt and pepper. Grill until charred-tender, then finish vegetables with Ellbee's Champagne Balsamic Vinegar.
- Rest pork chops 5 minutes before serving with the grilled vegetables.
Notes
Time: 45 min
Kitchen tip: A two-zone grill gives you control: crisp the bacon over the hot side, then finish the pork gently on the cooler side.
