Sweet & Savory Pork Chops
These pork chops walk the perfect line between sticky-sweet and boldly savory, with a glossy brown-sugar glaze that makes the whole plate shine. Asian Zing and Sweet & Smoky garlic give the easy weeknight method a flavor profile that tastes anything but ordinary.
Ingredients
Method
- Heat oven to 375°F. Season the pork chops with Sweet & Smoky Garlic and Asian Zing Garlic.
- Whisk brown sugar, ketchup, Honey Ginger Balsamic, and Dijon mustard into a smooth glaze. Pour half into a baking dish, nestle in the pork chops and apples, then spoon the remaining glaze over the top.
- Bake uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes, until the pork reaches 145°F and the glaze is bubbling. Broil for 1 to 2 minutes if you want extra caramelized edges.
- Rest the pork for 5 minutes, then serve with rice, green beans, and the glossy apples from the pan.
Notes
Time: 45 min
Kitchen tip: The glaze is excellent on chicken thighs too. Keep a double batch in the refrigerator for a fast second dinner later in the week.
