Blueberry Blue-Cheese Spread
Sweet blueberries and bold blue cheese are a very good kind of unexpected. This creamy spread gets a savory garlic edge and a fruity balsamic lift, then lands perfectly on crackers, celery or a warm slice of baguette for a cocktail-hour bite that feels extra special.
Ingredients
Method
- Beat cream cheese, blue cheese and sour cream together until mostly smooth with some blue-cheese texture remaining.
- Stir in Ellbee's Original Gourmet Garlic, Ellbee's Blueberry Balsamic Vinegar, Ellbee's Garlic Olive Oil and half the blueberries. Fold gently so a few berries stay whole.
- Spoon into a shallow bowl and top with remaining berries, pecans and cracked black pepper.
- Chill for 10 minutes, then serve with crisp celery, crackers or toasted crostini.
Notes
Time: 15 min
Kitchen tip: Taste before adding salt—the blue cheese brings plenty. A last drizzle of Blueberry Balsamic Vinegar over the bowl makes the berries pop.
