Sweet & Smoky Mustard Chicken
This is the kind of weeknight chicken that gets picked clean before the tray reaches the sink. A sweet-smoky garlic and mustard glaze bakes into the skin, while bourbon balsamic adds a grown-up tang that makes the whole pan feel barbecue-night worthy.
Ingredients
Method
- Heat oven to 400°F. Pat chicken dry, then rub it with Ellbee's Bacon Organic Olive Oil, salt and pepper. Arrange skin-side up on a rimmed sheet pan.
- Whisk mustard, Ellbee's Sweet & Smoky Gourmet Garlic, honey and Ellbee's Bourbon Balsamic Vinegar. Brush half over the chicken and roast 25 minutes.
- Toss green beans with a small drizzle of oil, salt and pepper. Add them around the chicken, brush with remaining glaze and roast until the chicken reaches 165°F and the beans are blistered, 12 to 15 minutes more.
- Rest 5 minutes, then spoon the pan juices over the chicken and serve with the roasted green beans.
Notes
Time: 50 min
Kitchen tip: For extra-crisp skin, broil the pan for the final 1 to 2 minutes—watch it closely because the honey glaze caramelizes quickly.
