Asian Zing Turkey Sliders
These sliders are all about the contrast: juicy turkey, a little Asian zing, crunchy peanut slaw and soft toasted buns. They are fast enough for a Tuesday, fun enough for a party tray and honestly better than the takeout you were about to order.
Ingredients
Method
- Gently combine turkey with 1 teaspoon Ellbee's Asian Zing Gourmet Garlic, salt and pepper. Shape into eight small patties and refrigerate while you make the slaw.
- Toss cabbage, peanut sauce, Ellbee's Honey Ginger Balsamic Vinegar, scallions, peanuts and the remaining Asian Zing Gourmet Garlic together. Let stand 10 minutes so the flavors settle in.
- Heat Ellbee's Garlic Olive Oil in a skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Cook patties until browned and cooked to 165°F, about 4 to 5 minutes per side.
- Build sliders with turkey patties, a generous mound of peanut slaw and sesame seeds. Serve while the buns are still warm.
Notes
Time: 35 min
Kitchen tip: Turkey burgers stay tender when mixed lightly. If the mixture feels sticky, oil your hands rather than adding more breadcrumbs.
